An alarmed citizen witnessed "suspicious" activity around this box
and removed it to the Rye , N.H. police dept. upon investigation the
box was opened and they saw the Cock-A-Doodle-Moo 4-H note. Being a
former 4-H sheep club member the police kindly went in the web site
checked us out and sent notice that they were holding the box for my
retrieval. My cousin will pick it up today. I will rehide it on my
next trip north and post when it is back in circulation. A side bar:
having never heaerd of letterboxing they feel it the perfect activity
for an 8 year old grandson another convert through a most incredible
twist of events. Leader of the Pack - Carol

Ahh...too cool. I read the message from the officer in yesterday's
digest and was thinking it interesting (as we were letterboxing in
Branford) that the message was posted to the talk list because that means
the person took the time to check it out and subscribe. I was wondering
how this would play out. Glad to know it's a story with a happy ending!
